To meet these objectives Grassroots North East has the following aims:

a) To build strong links with established volunteer groups in communities across the North East by providing advice, volunteers and support

b) To build the capacity of voluntary projects in the North East to increase social action.

c) To increase awareness of the environmental, community led projects across Northumberland and Tyne & Wear

d) To develop the organisation in order to form a viable structure able to deliver social action projects across the region in partnerships with local groups and networks.
